Affixes of French and Tatar languages representing interactivity

Abstract

The main issue is the consideration of morphological means of expressing the category of iterativety in French and Tatar languages, namely prefixes and suffixes. Method of textual analyses is widely used. We have come to the conclusion that in aspectual semantics, with a common archism of multiplicity, the French suffixes more often express iterativity of a single discrete action, and less often the iterative action in repetitive situations; Tatar suffixes, on the contrary, more often express iterative and less often multiplicative, compare. The common for diminutive-multiple suffixes is their aspectual unity; the values of attenuation and multiplicity are sometimes inseparable.
